The milling drill is intended for deepening holes for insulation plugs with a diameter of 70 mm in polystyrene insulation. The tool is used to deepen the hole for the facade dowel for so-called recessed installation when the head of the dowel is embedded in the insulation. After anchoring the facade dowel, the recessed opening with the facade dowel is subsequently covered with an insulating plug. In order to avoid damage to the tool, do not use it for drilling material that has already been treated with a trowel or plaster. The tool is not suitable for deepening holes in extruded polystyrene and mineral wool. When using this method of insulation, you will achieve better thermal insulation properties, primarily because the heat loss will be lower by breaking the thermal bridge. The tool is made of polyamide reinforced with glass fibers.
